Westminster Launch Event

ReQoL was officially launched at Portcullis House in Westminster on October 12, 2016. The event was kindly hosted by Mr Paul Blomfield MP

and chaired by Professor Jed Boardman.

Mrs Phoebe Robinson, NHS England 
  • Professor John Brazier, the Chief Investigator of the project,  presented an overview of ReQoL and showed a film which captures the essence of the measures.
  • Mrs Phoebe Robinson from NHS England provided an overview of outcome measures like ReQoL in the context of the Five Year Forward Plan.
  • Dr David Churchman from Oxford Innovation Ltd explained in his presentation about the licences for the ReQoL measures.
  • Dr Lizzie Taylor Buck presented on the implementation of the ReQoL in routine practice. The lively discussions were led by Dr Jill Carlton, Dr Thomas Ricketts, Professor Michael Barkham, Professor John Brazier and Ms Janice Connell. This is being currently written up and will be put on the website once it is ready.

The event was organised with the valuable help from the staff from Mr Paul Blomfield's office by Ms Surinder Bangar, Impact Facilitator and Researcher and Dr Anju Keetharuth, ReQoL project lead, with the precious assistance from Liz Metham, Samantha Pye, Sarah Gonzalez and Kate Cash from the School of Health and Related Research.
